  • Reference books marked with ‘R’ and newspapers may be read and consulted at the IRC only.
  • Members are responsible for any loss or damage to IRC materials on loan or used by them.
  • All IRC materials on loan are not transferable.

 

 

# Please register at IRC counter if you wish to be granted borrowing privileges.

 

Return

 

  • All loans should be returned on or before the date due or immediately on recall.
  • Please return your loan materials at the IRC counter.
  • When the IRC is closed, you may use the bookdrop inside IRC or Blk 12 Nexus (Level 5).

 

 

Renewal

 

  • A maximum of three renewals are allowed if there is no reservation for the item.
  • Members can renew their IRC loan:
    • in person at the IRC;
    • via IRC@Technet (Tip: Click on your name displayed on the top right corner of the page.)
    • with a call to the friendly IRC staff at 6308 1823;
    • with an email to IRC

 

 

Reservation

 

  • Members can make reservation for item(s) that is out on-loan using the IRC Catalogue.
  • You will receive an email to collect the reserved item(s).
  • Your reservation will expire and be removed from the reservation queue if it remains unfulfilled one week from the date of the email notification. You will be notified by email accordingly.

 

 

Acquisition

If the literature you require for your work is not available at IRC, you may make use of our acquisition service. Please submit a Recommend Resource and we will try to procure the material for you.

 

Interlibrary Loan

Materials may be borrowed from libraries in Singapore through interlibrary loan. Please check availability of the material in the other libraries before you submit a Request Interlibrary Loan. Please return materials obtained through interlibrary loan directly to the lending libraries.
